  • Reviewed 1000+ renewal and re-solicitation contract expiration Master Agreements. 
  • Reviewed and approves contract Change Orders, Agenda Reports, Professional Service Agreements, Amendments, Work Authorizations and Final Payments. 
  • Researched, prepares and presents materials at Project Management Workshops to improve general knowledge of procurement and managing County construction contracts.

Public Works Department/Construction Management Specialist, 02/06-05/08                                  

  • Managed the Public Works Sheltered Market (SBE) Program. 
  • Reviewed requisitions and documents related to capital construction projects, work authorizations under the library of consultants, change orders, and final payment submittals for construction and consultant contracts.
  • Corrected deficiencies and resolved issues with Contract Administrators, Project Managers, and/or consultants or contractors involved with the document being reviewed for approval action.
  • Expedited required submittals or approval actions to ensure timely completion of capital projects and payment of contractors and consultants. 

Prepared and presented materials at Project Management Workshops to improve general knowledge of construction procurement and level of professionalism in managing County construction contracts.
